The project thesis
A media platform should do more than store publications. It should turn viewing into a clear path: discover, access, watch and return for the next release.
Context of the solution
The product had several content formats and access scenarios. Without one publishing model, catalogue, subscription and video delivery drift apart: editors think about releases, viewers think about playback and support thinks about access state.

How the user journey works
We shaped the system around a repeatable journey rather than a set of screens. Each step answers the user’s next question and leaves a state the system can verify.

Engineering decisions
The case is not only about the interface. We drew system boundaries where the product can lose trust: content modelling, access, media and operations.
Content boundary
Video, podcasts and authored materials share one model, so the catalogue and feed do not depend on manual exceptions.
Subscriptions and permissions
Subscription, permissions and playback state are connected and can be explained before the user acts.
Video and CDN
Media uses a dedicated delivery boundary that can be diagnosed independently from the editorial interface.
Architectural headroom
API and data boundaries leave room for new formats, plans and integrations without rewriting the core.
Project context and delivery
This anonymized case shows real engineering work without exposing the client name or unverified figures. Delivery includes more than the interface: it covers the agreed data, access, publishing and operating boundaries required after release.
